The Department of ECE offers a new option in Biomedical Engineering for the Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering Programs. This option is specifically designed to offer students a solid interdisciplinary background in biological sciences and biomedical engineering.

New EE Specialization in Electrical Energy Systems!

ECE now offers an Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Option and a Computer Engineering Biomedical Engineering Option.

ECE Events Calendar

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria offers Bachelor, Masters and Doctoral degrees. Co-operative education is a key component of our degree programs.

The Department has over 300 undergraduate students, some 100 graduate students, and thirty-five regular and emeritus faculty members. A broad range of research is carried out by faculty and graduate students.
